I was really ectxied when I heard about this show. I watched it last week and honestly it was disappointing. It is too predictable. I understand that they did not want to go as dark and gritty as "Alias" but it is too fluffy and cute. The show needs a little more edge, intrigue and unpredictability. This show will probably be cancelled soon. Too bad as we have not had a big budget show with 2 blacks leads.

As I myself gateuradd from SFA, as did my children, and both my parents. In fact, a grandparent to boot. Needless to say, I and my family are long time residents. In asking both my children who when attending SFA (who are now married with children of their own) what they thought the differences were. This dicussion lasted on and off for days. As we all attended school, and holding full time jobs, I believe the school was able and willingly to work' with a student's bottom line'. An education was worth the community helping with meals, a dorm, study halls, child care, family(on campus) housing(I was born in a duplex on campus), and more backing' all around. The college has become all about the bottom line in trying to compete with larger universities and at the same time doing away with everything those campuses offer. Both my children moved away with their educations as Nacogdoches without on-campus childcare, housing (having to live with 6 roommates to one home to afford to eat), all the while it is hard to find a landlord anymore who allows college' kids to rent without charging fees in case of' fires, keg parties, broken glass, carpet burns, whatever. Meanwhile, as much as we don't care to admit, to most the college years are also years to be a little crazy. This town has upwards of 4 bars. Yes, bars. Where kids can drink, smoke, laugh, play music, and dance. Socialize. The only frat'/birthday/dance/'topless club was raided. The river' has died. Wasn't that ALOT of money once? Nacogdoches wants to advertise itself as a retirement' community and at the same time draw a younger crowd to spend it's money. It's slowly dying. And retiring it is. From boredom.

I was proud of the people that stood up and told the<a href="http://abooacoholr.com"> cssoimoimner</a>'s court of their concerns over the budget cuts to the Sheriff's Office. I especially liked the one gentleman that told them that he held them personally responsible for their actions. I think that they did not expect anyone to hold them accountable for their actions. I hope that all of the personnel that are being let go find other jobs do that they can support their families. It was a truly sad day for the citizens of Nacogdoches County.
